This was just before Joe went onstage, and he had gone off to the bogs, so George said to me, ‘Quick, get a picture of me with the guitar before he comes back.’ When Joe returned, he strapped on the guitar and I took another shot of him swinging the same axe onstage. Joe and George ended up being really close friends. In fact, George was best man at Joe’s wedding.”
